The plan of “The Stone House” was inspired not so much by modern architecture, but  from traditional buildings in the region – the so-called stone towers. This incredible stone house has a very natural warm quality to it, incorporating exposed concrete and limestone with natural wood beams and an open ceiling to see the countryside. Architecture meets nature in this stunning Italian countryside house by architect Arturo Montanelli. Upstairs, bedrooms boast peace and privacy. Mediterranean-style strong sense of authentic yet modern design stone house. The main floor is bright and airy, with high ceilings in the living room and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden outside. This beautiful lake house frames stunning views of Lake Como and the Italian countryside in every direction, increasing its natural appeal. Built into a slope, this stunning house on the hill has a strong sense of gravity to it, based on the weight and stone design.
