Minimalist house in Sweden

Surrounded by the Scandinavian landscape, revealed this beautiful farm, tastefully renovated in a minimalist style, clean lines and open space. The farm offers a total of 2,314 square feet (215 square meters), most of the square footage is divided into four rooms and a kitchen, wine cellar and a fabulous loft of about 700 square feet (65 square meters) left sparingly decorated for the next owner to transform. The house has in the past year has undergone a transformation from the classical 1930’s three-pronged long Scandinavian home, to now take pride in the countryside for those who seek something beyond the ordinary.

From the entrance the house is very welcoming, with a milled concrete floor and exit to the garden and patio. Adjacent to the entrance hall there is an accessible guest room with glass doors that opens to the countryside. To the left of the entrance is a hall that leads one to a large bathroom offering a toilet, bathtub and separate shower. To the right of the entrance is the master bedroom with an adjacent bathroom and a wine cellar with the decline of the glass door in the floor. The heart of the home is the huge living room with wooden beams and a large kitchen from Smeg. Here is also a patio door to the garden and numerous windows that brings nature in. The entire ground floor has ground (terrazzo style) concrete flooring, white plastered walls and wooden beams in the ceiling. The attic consists of a large loft allowing more room divisions, huge bedrooms or lounges, here only the imagination sets the limits.

The property is located in the “flower village” Hammenhรถg, of Skone County, Sweden which in recent years become a central point for enterprise in the form of architects, a cafe, designer shops and design agencies. This fulfilled the dream of a tasteful and carefree living on the mainland. Welcome to Vallby 97, listed for sale here.
