Charming and stylish hotel on the island of Capri

Capri Suite is a boutique hotel in the town of Anacapri, nestled on the island of Capri, Italy, by interior design firm ZETASTUDIO. Enjoying an enviable location, not far from the Blue Grotto and the Punta Carena Lighthouse, this funky hotel is a resotration project, occupying part of a former monastery from the 1600′s in the heart of the ancient village. The hotel remains true to the history and natural beauty of Anacapri by including elements such as ancient frescoes, an Italian courtyard garden and ceilings that mimic the rustic look of a barrel roof. There are two rooms in this hotel which have been designed as a warm and welcoming environment. Calm and cool, named the Blue Room and the Yellow Room, they are poised to immerse guests in comfort and style.

A hall connecting the individual rooms offer a peek into the garden, inviting light to wash the space. In a similar fashion, a strategic interplay of glass panels, windows, and mirrors flood the rooms with light and marry the scenic view of Anacapri with the building’s own architectural character. The facade of the building is a calming lime-white that acts as homage to the strata in Anacapri’s hills and cliffs, and is contrasted by the textured walls within. Lemon-yellow and cerulean blue contemporary furnishings, many of which are creations of Italian designer Gio Ponti, mixed with vintage objects and works of art breathe color into the building’s interior as well as provide a modern contrast to the laid-back, traditional qualities of the space.

Rates for this charming hotel starts at $194 per night from here.
