This stunning Spanish Colonial estate was built in 1925 and sited on almost an acre of enchanting gardens in Altadena, California. Restored in 2007, the estate is the quintessential embodiment of European sensibilities. Walled and gated, the elegant property is the result of old world artisan craftsmanship. The 3,210 square foot home features soaring ceilings, arched windows and French doors, original fixtures that have been lovingly restored, and modern conveniences that have been incorporated seamlessly. The unique finishes and surfaces found throughout the home create elegant, yet inviting rooms that welcome you to experience them. The home’s features include copper plumbing, on demand water heater, and a whole house water purification system. There are three generously sized bedrooms, including the master complete with balcony and two oversized baths with custom tile work and cabinetry.

The home has numerous outdoor entertaining areas, including the terrace off the kitchen, complete with fire pit and fountain. There are numerous water features throughout the property, as well as meandering paths, stone walls, reclaimed antique European gates from Europe and unique garden designs. The salt water pool and spa with granite coping sits below the vast expanse of rolling lawn dotted with mature Oaks. All stones used for pathways and garden walls are reclaimed from the property. Some windows (office, kitchen and dining room) were salvaged and refinished.

This striking property is listed for sale at $2,395,000, from here.
