Delightful modern mountain cabin getaway in picturesque Martis Camp

contemporary-exterior

This contemporary mountain cabin was designed by Walton Architecture in conjunction with Jeffers Design Group, located in the picturesque Martis Camp in Truckee, California. This home was created as a getaway for a young family from San Francisco. The goal was to create living spaces that are easy, comfortable and fun. This mountain retreat is infused with industrial chic style, while cozy blankets helps to redefine rustic.

You will not find any antler chandeliers in this modernized version of a mountain cabin. The design team infused the home with a soft palette of textures and hues mixed with wood flooring, adding a cozy warmth to the interiors. Bunk beds in the children’s room save space, creating a fun and playful environment. Large expanses of windows allow the inhabitants incredible views of the beautiful landscape and mountains of Lake Tahoe in the distance.
