Charming lakefront log cabin with whitewashed interiors

Lake Cabin-Wisconsin-Jessica Jubelirer Design-01-1 Kindesign

This stunning log cabin has been beautifully designed with rustic details by interiors studio Jessica Jubelirer Design, nestled lakefront in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This countryside home features whitewashed interiors that contrasts somewhat with its surroundings. Everything you see in the interiors appear as if it has been carefully preserved for decades, very timeless. There is no cliched or predictable organization of space, it is rather very cozy with its textural area rugs strewn over beautiful honey colored hardwood flooring. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room allows the homeowners expansive views of the rippling lake. Cozy furniture arrangements reflecting a traditional style gives the home a welcoming cottagey aesthetic. The finished result is a rural log cabin that is fresh, contemporary and modern, but pays homage to the traditions.
